The Louisiana Masons Motorcycle Chapter was formed on February 27, 2005 at the Covington Lodge No. 188 in Covington, Louisiana.  There were five Masons present. Officers were elected and a meeting/ride schedule was set up. Anthony Lee Pohlmann, P.M. and Davide Wilson, P.M. were both founders. Anthony Lee Pohlmann, P.M. was elected as the first President.
    Shortly after the first meeting, the Executive Board started drafting the By-Laws to govern the chapter and all expected subordinate chapters. Within the first year, the young chapter had a few set backs with the arrival of the 2005 hurricane season where the region took a hard hit with Hurricane Katrina to be followed up by Hurrican Rita. Once members were able to  regain the ability to continue meetings the members continued with forward progress. Elections were held in December where the Executive Board voted to re-elect all officers in their current positions.
  Finalization of the first completed By-Laws was in February  2006.

    Monthly meetings are held at Covington Lodge #188  at 9:00am on the last Saturday of every month. Scheduled rides consist of Brother members and on some occasions we have open rides for non-members.
